The WMHA Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 7:00 at Goff Hall, Woodstock and District Community Complex. This is, as always, a very important meeting that determines the future of Woodstock Minor Hockey. As such the attendance of all members is strongly requested.

The strength of our association is very dependent on the leadership provided by our executive. They are called upon to guide the organization forward, to ensure fairness and equity throughout the association, and most importantly, listen to the membership to make decisions in the best interests of us all. This is not an easy job but can be very interesting and exciting. We need people who are committed to the best interests of all members, players, coaches, officials and volunteers. Please do not assume someone else will look after this and leave the responsibility to them. If you or others you know are qualified people you owe it to yourself and WMHA to make sure we get the best people possible.

Nominations for Board of Directors will be accepted up to 15 business days in advance of the AGM (April 8, 2010) subject to receipt of properly completed Nomination for Board of Directors and Application for Board of Directors forms. These forms are also available at the WMHA office. The names and credentials of those running will be posted on the website. No nominations will be accepted from the floor. Subject to bylaw approval nominations will be open for up to 14 OPEN positions. Stay tuned for more. Make sure you have white-listed mailer@rampmx.com in your address book.
